This fabric is in a gorgeous copper & gold color. The spectacular fabric is completely unique. It is hand made by a small collective of former Fortuny artisans in Italy. The velvet is hand dyed with hand blended dyes and the colors are match perfectly with the patterned hand blocked and hand dyed fabric. The inks in which the designs are printed are the identical hand formulated metallic ink overlays used by Mariano Fortuny himself. The result....a one of a kind, utterly magnificent fabric...almost art in and of itself...that will make incredible upholstery, pillows and many other World Class decorating items. Picture your home with a chair done in one of these spectacular velvets...much more expensive and labor intensive than Fortuny fabric from the Fortuny factory and, most people agree, far more exquisite.
