This is a COPY fabulous Scalamandre Le Tigre fabric that is VERY hard to tell from the authentic Scalamandre fabric.

We showed some designers this fabric and they were aghast at how close it is to the real authentic Scalamandre Le Tigre fabric that sells for thousands per yard. This is an incredibly soft, silky velvet that is ideal for upholstery, drapery, bedding, pillows, slipcovers and about a thousand other items. There is a fair number of Scalamandre knockoffs on the market. Most if not all of them are Chinese knockoffs and upon examination are easy to see the inferiority compared to the real thing.....BUT not this fabric.
