Marbleized design (marmorizzata) is made by swirling pigments into a large, shallow pan of water, then laying the fabric gently and briefly on the surface of the water to transfer the pattern. Because the designs sometimes mimic the natural veining in stone or marble, the word “marbleized” came to be used In Venice.
This color is shades of red with a touch of coral, rose and grey, taupe, white / ivory.
The repeat is a standard 28" and this can be railroaded. Ideal for anything from blinds, upholstery, pillows and bedding. This fabric is Washable and already preshrunk.
There is an 8 yard minimum and delivery is about 3 weeks.
