This fabric is a blend of Silk and a little Poly which endows the silk with great durability, yet is absolutely indistinguishable from 100% silk velvet..
This fabric is ideal for making upholstery of all sorts, and especially upholstery that will get a lot of use.....it will still look new even after many years of use, Bedding, Drapery, Pillows & so much more. If you have never had anything made of silk velvet before, you really owe yourself a treat.
If there was a graph for softness, it would be at the very tip top, and this particular fabric, because it is a blend, also has far greater durability than pure silk velvet. Make something wonderful and enjoy watching your friends drool when they see your home.
